Dr(Smt). Kamala David Dhawale

Dr. (Smt). Kamala David Dhawale,  the Principal of CSI College of Commerce, Dharwad, is an Associate Professor of  English. She has Masters in English,  M. Phil, and  Ph. D from Karnatak University, Dharwad. She has also cleared her SLET. Having a teaching experience more than 31 years, she has presented paper in World Conference, International conferences, with few papers published in Journals of repute. She has attended and presented papers in National Workshops and participated in State Level Workshops. She has held positions as – member, BOS Rani Chennamma University, Belagavi, member, BOS, RLS Institute of Science, Belgavi, and Treasurer, Alumni Association, Dept. of English, Karnatak University, Dharwad.

She is a Trainer for Soft skills and UGC Sponsored Capacity Building of Women Managers in Higher Education. She has attended and presented paper at the International Women’s Consultation, Hartbeesport, South Africa from 3-11th October 2016.

She has been the recipient of

She is now the Syndicate Member of Karnatak University as well as the Member of Academic Council of Karnatak University, Dharwad.

 

Dr. S. V. Hegadal

Dr. S. V. Hegadal is an Associate Professor and the Head of the Department in Commerce. He has Masters in Commerce and has cleared State Level Eligibility Test ( SLET ) and has obtained PhD in Finance from Karnatak University Dharwad. He also has LLB (spl) Degree to his credit. Having more than 29 years of teaching experience, he has participated and presented papers in National, State Level Seminar, acted as Resource Person, Rapporteur and Guest speaker in many seminars and conferences. He was president of Karnatak University and College Commerce Teachers Association (KUCCTA) for two years (2010-2012). He has organised many National and State Level Seminars and workshops in collaboration with other institutions.  As a organizing secretary he has successfully coordinated the UGC funded 02 National Seminars and 01 State Level Workshop in the college and also 02 State Level Commerce Fest for students. As a NSS officer in the college (2004 to 2007) he has organised 03 special camps, many rallies and Jathas on Pulse Polio and Health awareness the rural mass on conducted  by IT & BT  Dept of Government of Karnataka and Five TQM programmes. He has an experience of having worked as a member of Board of Examination for UG University of Mysore and also Co-ordinator for central valuation of Karnatak  University. Presently he holds positions as Member of BOS in Commerce (UG) Karnatak University,  Dharwad. Member Advisory Committee Mahalaxmi Co-operative Bank, Dharwad. Member Advisory Committee Shree Beereshwar, Credit Sonhard Ltd, Dharwad. Member Academic Advisory Board AIMSR, Dharwad; Member, Advisory Committee Karnatak University College Teachers Association (KUCTA). He also has good connections with the social and cultural organizations.. He has served as Syndicate Member of Karnatak State Law University, Huballi from 2016-2019. He has also been member of Board of Studies, Dept of Commence, Karnatak University, and Member, Board of Examination, Mysore University. He has many publications in the form of books and articles to his credit. He has a rich research experience. He is presently the Coordinator for the PG program in the College. He also holds office as Honourary President of Akhil Bharat Sharana Sahitya Parishat, Dharwad district unit. As a Organising Secretary  he played a key role in conducting and organising All India 11th Sharana Sahittya Sammelan at Dharwad, December 2013. He is the Life member of different social cultural organasations like Karnataka Vidyavardhak Sangh. Kannada Sahitya Parishat, Sir Siddappa Kamble  Pratishtan; Basava Kendra, Dharwad.

 

Dr. G. V. Kokkalaki

Dr. G. V. Kokkalaki is an Associate Professor of Commerce, and has completed his Master’s Degree in Commerce, completed his MBA and obtained M. Phil, Ph. D from Kolhapur University and has 25 years teaching experience. He has guided 28 M. Phil Students, 04 M.B.A projects. He has published 12 books, of which 11 are ISBN recognised. He has published 27 papers. He has presented papers in 38 International Conferences, 32 National Conferences, 16 papers in State Level Conferences. He has participated in 23 International conferences,15 National Level Conferences and 6 State Level Conferences. He has attended more than 17 Workshops. He has completed 3 Refreshers courses, one Orientation course and one training programme for NSS officers, one Short Term Course and one DTP Course. He has completed 2 Minor Research Project as Principal Investigator and one as Co-Investigator.

He has worked as Treasurer for Karnatak University Commerce Teachers Association, Dharwad. He has served as NSS Programme Officer for 3 years. He is an Examiner for Professional Courses-Company Secretary, Chartered Accountant.He has also serving as the Executive member of  Dharwad,  Shahara Kuruvinshetty Association (R), Dharwad. He has many awards to his credit.

 

Dr. G. M. Hugar

Dr. G. M. Hugar is Assistant Professor of Economics, completed his M.A in Economics, obtained Ph. D from Karnatak University,  Dharwad, 2004. He has twenty one years of teaching experience. He has guided one M. Phil candidate and one project. He has published eight books, and has presented papers in ten International Conference, twenty two National Conference and six State Level Conferences. He has attended in sixty six International, forty four National and eight State Level Workshops. He has completed one Minor Research Project, two Refresher course, three Orientation Program, eight Faculty Development programs and Training programmes for NSS officers. He worked as NSS Officer for a period of three years. He has publish 18 papers in International journal, 16 in National Journals, 02 in State journals.

He is member of Karnatak University College Teachers’ Association, Kannada Sahitya Parishad, Vidhya Vardhak Sangha, Dharwad; Family Planning Association of India.

 

 

Smt. Manasa C. T

Smt. Manasa C.T is Assistant Professors of Commerce. She obtained her M.Com degree from Mangalore University and completed her M. Phil degree in 2008 and has 17 years of teaching experience. She has completed two Refresher course, one Orientation programme and Two Short Term course of One week and Two week duration. She attended and presented a paper(s) in 01 International, 03 National Conferences and 01 article is published in journal with ISBN. She attended 01 State Level Conference. She presented papers in 08 National Seminars, 02 State Level Seminars. She has attended  06 National as well as State Level Workshops. She has completed NSS ETI training at Mysore. She also attended Active Citizens Master Facilitator’s Development Training. She also attended Life Skill Training Progarm at NIMHANS, B’lore. She has worked as Lady Representative, Karnatak University and Colleges Commerce Teachers’ Association (KUCCTA), Dharwad. She is the Life member of Kannada Sahitya Parishad, Bangalore; Family Planning Association and Karnataka Vidhya Vardhak Sangh, Dharwad.

At present she hold the position as NSS Program Officer since 2016 and is the Co-ordinator of Electoral Literacy Club (SVEEP) of the College.

She hold the position as Program Officer of Red Ribbon Club. She is the recipient of Appreciation letter from both SVEEP and Red Ribbon Club. She is also the recipient of Dr. D.C. Pawate Best NSS Officer Award for the year 2018-19.

 

 

Guest Faculty- B. Com

Dr. Premalata Kotie, has a Ph. D in Kannada on “Kannadadha Protestant Missionarigala Dharmika Sahityada Swaroopa mattu Vaishistya” from the University of Bangalore, 2012. She obtained her M.A degree from Karnatak University and has a teaching experience of more than 16 years. She has attended various seminars and conferences and presented papers therein. She has a Diploma in Translation.

Kartik Halakatti, has completed his M. Com and B. Com from CSI College of Commerce, affiliated to Karnatak University, Dharwad. An alumnus of CSI College, he teaches Statistics here. He has cleared his UGC-NET in 2018 as also KSET in 2018.

Peter D. A. Rao has an M.A in English. He has a B. Ed degree and also TESOL (Teaching of English to Speakers of Other Languages) Certificate. He teaches English for B. Com and BCA students.

Suman Kavalur has completed her Masters in Hindi from Karnatak University and has a B. Ed degree too. She teaches Hindi to B. Com and BCA students.

BCA

Stephen R. Williams completed his Masters in Computer Science from Karnatak University. He has a teaching experience of more than 18 years. He has attended various seminars and conferences at the State and National level. He has actively participated in many Faculty Development Programs. He has M. Phil degree too.

Arpana G. is Masters in M Sc- Computer Science and Bachelor’s Degree in BCA. She has cleared KSET in 2013. An accomplished artist- she is a dancer – having cleared exams both in Kathak and Bharatnatyam-poet, singer, debater She has the distinction of working as a translator for All India Radio, Dharwad, and has won awards for her translation of Radio Documentary. She has good teaching experience. She is working on a research project in Medical Image Processing on Pattern Classification and Analysis of Medical Images.

She has visited many colleges as guest speaker on various topics. She has also attended many seminars and conferences and presented papers there.

Mohammad Asif N. Koujaganur has a Masters in Computer Application from B.V. Bhoomaraddi College of Engineering and Technology. Besides teaching, he is a free-lancer as a Web developer, and project trainer with many years of experience. He is proficient in web server management and digital marketing.

M. Com

Pramod Kulkarni, a practicing Chartered Accountant at Dharwad since 2018, he is an alumnus of our College. He has completed his Masters in Commerce in 2013, having secured Third Rank to Karnatak University. He secured Fourth Rank to the University at B. Com in 2011 and brought laurels to our College. He has cleared his UGC-NET in 2013. He is currently pursuing his Ph. D programme at the Department of Commerce, Karnatak University, Dharwad. He has more than 6 years of teaching experience.

Divya Patil an alumnus of our College has a Masters in Commerce and has done her B. Com from Karnatak University. She has cleared KSET in December2018. She has completed a Certificate Course on ‘Basics of Capital Market’.
