A special talk on “Career Opportunities” was held on 8th February, 2016. Dr. Gururaj M. Bulabule, Director of BCASB, Author and Number Guru addressed the students.


Remedial coaching classes for low scorers of B.Com I year students was conducted from 11th to 29th September 2015 soon after the first internal test.


Campus Recruitment and Placement was organized in our College on 15th   September, 2015. Nearly 100 students participated and 10 students got recruited.


A talk was arranged on 11th September 2015, on ‘Basics to Bossing’ on stock market, banking and non-banking, planning to trade.  Mr. Srinivas Kotiyan was the resource person.


Basic English grammar classes for SC/ST/OBC and Minorities was conducted from 4th to 12th September 2015 for Iyear students.


As per the MoU with Family Planning Association of India, Dharwad Branch, the inauguration of a counselling cell was held on 25th August, 2015 at 11:30 am. Smt. Sujata Annishettar spoke on the occasion. It was decided to set up Counselling Cell in the college separately for girls and boys every Tuesday.


On the auspices of Independence Day, Blood Donation camp was jointly organized with RRC, YRCW and KIMS, Hubli on 15th August 2015.  One faculty and 30 students donated blood.  All the NSS Volunteers and faculty members got their blood grouping done. Dr Kavita Mankani, in charge of the Blood Bank spoke on the occasion of the benefits of donating blood and the importance of blood donation as an invaluable service to our fellow beings


An Essay Competition under the banner of college miscellany “HOPE”   was conducted on 23rd July, 2015 at 12:15 pm for the selection of Miscellany Student Secretary. The Essay was on the topic, “Swachh Bharat Abhiyan in Building Healthy Nation.”


The Valediction of Debate Union was held on 16th February, 2016. The valediction included the prize distribution of Late R.S. Bangera Memorial Elocution and Late Praveen Mahajanshetti Memorial Debate competitions.  Prof. (Smt.) J.P. Naware, Rtd. Faculty of English was the Chief Guest.


Late Praveen Mahajanshetti Memorial Debate Competition was conducted on 19th January, 2016 at 12:00 pm on “Are Women Really Empowered in India”. The debate was conducted both in Kannada and English.
